A new business
In my last post I talked about how I want nothing to do with the complicated computery bits of online sales, but I also don’t want to deal with the expectations of Etsy.
Well, I spoke with my friend, Jono, and we rekindled an idea from a couple months ago. It was to start a business called These Men Are Professionals. It’s a name meant to allay worry, you see. Who can be trusted more than professionals? This is a rhetorical question, of course.
But the website exists. I registered the domain, I set up an ecommerce website, I committed to an ongoing draw on my funds. Now I just have to put some more stuff on it and get it sold, which means I need to do some photography. And some more making, I suppose. Hopefully somewhere I draw in Jono, lest it be the website of a professional man. This Man Is A Professional doesn’t have the same ring.
When I began this blog I committed to not using it to make money. It is with great trepidation that I post the URL. Please forgive me, my conscience. My motives are pure-ish.
I’ve been following your blog for a few months now and I just want to saw this idea is great! The title is catchy, there is humor in the text so it kept me engaged all the way through. Can’t wait to see what else you add.
Good luck and great job so far tackling your debt!
Krishna, thank you so much for your message. I was worried I’d lost everyone in late December. You flatter me with compliments, and that’s okay!
More should be posted up there in short order.
